OUR PROGRAMME

We offer two options for taking part in the Healthier You NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme.

1. You can join our coach-led group programme alongside others in your local area who are also reducing their risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes.

2. We offer an online app alternative, so you can complete the programme remotely with digital support from your local health coach.

This is a free, 9-month programme designed to significantly reduce your risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes and improve your health.

Lisa Hatherall bio 
I am a Health, Wellness and Lifestyle Change Coach and Personal Trainer.  Both in my private practice, and NHS work, I specialise in working with people at risk of developing Type 2 diabetes.  My qualifications include: 
• Diploma in Health Coaching and Nutritional Therapy (Level 5) 
• Diploma in Fitness Instruction and Personal Training (Level 3) 
• Weight Loss Specialist (NASM) 
• Diploma in Diabetes Management (Level 2) 
• NEATFit Coach

TARYN ROBERTS
Coach

Taryn is a fully qualified nutrition and health coach, afn accredited, RSPH level 4 qualified, and registered with the UKIHCA.  She is also a qualified gym trainer and has a passion for total wellbeing.  Alongside her work with LWTC, she works privately, supporting women with gut health, burnout and emotional eating.   
 
Her absolute passion is enabling individuals to take back control of their health, through both mind and body, and supporting them every step of the way to achieve their goals.  "Seeing someone arrive at session 1 and believe change is impossible for them and then watching them grow, seeing their results and how they create healthy habits that last, is pretty magical".   
 
Outside of work, Taryn is a mum of twins and loves making memories with family and friends, living an active lifestyle, enjoying good food and travelling. 

Your local Healthier You programme is provided by Living Well Taking Control. The aim of the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme is to help local patients improve their knowledge, ability and confidence whilst offering the support needed to make positive lifestyle choices.
