Meet the coaches of Kent and Medway

Meet our incredible coaches for Kent and Medway!

Sam

I became a certified Health Coach in 2000, and I haven’t looked back since.  I have spent the past fifteen years (12 of those overseas) working solely with women, mainly one on one helping them with their health and fitness. I’m still working as a PT but only on a part-time basis as well as my role with LWTC. In my spare time I love spending time outdoors walking, running, cycling with friends from my running club and family members.  I also enjoy travelling to as many new places as possible and experiencing new experiences, foods and different lifestyles.

Sabine graduated from the Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION) in London in 2014 after 3 years of training to complete a diploma in Nutritional Therapy. She then completed her Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Master Practitioner certification in 2016 to add coaching techniques to her skill set. In her private practice, Sabine specialises in hormone health. Since 2019 she has seen clients on a one-on-one basis and has recently started delivering the Diabetes Prevention Programmes in the Maidstone area. She is following her real calling: helping people have a healthier and happier life, so they can continue doing the things they love with the health and vitality they deserve.

Before joining LWTC, I had a background in biochemistry and spent several years working in the health and wellbeing sector creating, organising and running wellbeing experiences and health resources. As an LWTC coach no two days are the same. It is a complete joy working within the community, learning something from every patient who joins the programme and being able to support them in making long term, sustainable lifestyle changes. When not working as a coach, I particularly enjoy spending time in the garden although my approach to gardening is less green fingers and more survival of the fittest!

Ben

Ben has been able to put his previous experience and training into good use. Over the years, his strengths working for British Airways were the health and safety aspects of the role and in recent years has trained in phlebotomy as a Health Assessment Specialist for the Private Health sector. Ben enjoys working with the diverse people within the community and has built a great rapport with them all, supporting them every step of the way through the course. When he is not working, he enjoys walks on the beach with his husband and two French Bulldogs and going to the gym. He also is a great cook and loves hosting dinner parties.

I qualified as a NASM Personal Trainer and EIQ Nutrition Coach and explored my passion in positive health and fitness for those reaching midlife and onwards; quickly realizing the importance and huge benefits of Strength Training for us all. Motivation can dwindle quickly if you're eating and exercising purely for aesthetics but changing your mindset and your focus onto how it can make you feel, what your body needs and can achieve, and your overall future health will make a difference. My favourite quote is  “Ability is what you are capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it. ” —Louis "Lou" Holtz

Callum

I bring a unique blend of education and passion to empower individuals on their journey towards better health. With a BSc in Sport Psychology and ongoing pursuit of an MSc in Applied Exercise and Health Science, my expertise lies at the intersection of physical and psychological well-being. I love leading an active lifestyle attending the gym 4-5 times a week and playing football 3 times a week. As an avid Everton supporter, I am in expert at dealing with disappointment. In my spare time, I delve into classical philosophy and try to translate this into reflecting my holistic approach to health coaching—fostering mind-body harmony for lasting positive change.
